Being a great Product Manager is as tough, if not many times tougher than breaking into product management. Certainly, there are many great distinct qualities that set an effective Product Manager apart from his/her peers. During our classes, events and even when speaking with our members, we are always asked this question: “How can I become a great Product Manager?”

This is a big topic here at Product Gym, because when prospective students and students alike are investing their time, money, and energy into this program, landing the “right” Product Manager job is very important to them. Recently, one of my students in the West Coast has started a position that hasn’t worked out too well for her and is about to embark on the job hunt again.
